The KH 260 single bed unit has been designed to work with heavier yarns than the standard models. Needle Pitch: 9 mm needle spacing, total of 114 needles.
From a small amount and up to 114 needles on the needle bed can be utilized. Not all needles have to be used for making fabric. The number of needles selected for use will provide a different width of fabric. Any number of rows can be knit and a row counter is provided. There are designated uses for the 15 design cards. Some of the designs can serve more than one function. They can also be used with a 4.5 mm machine model. One can knit plain knit fabric called stocking stitch, or any of the following for design texture or color. Tuck stitch, Skip stitch, Weaving, Fair Isle, Thread Lace. Plating of two colors plain or fancy design can have one different shade or color of yarn on each side of fabric. Plating can be used as a reversible color. One can transfer stitches for handwork of cable twists or lace knitting. Pattern Variation: Double length pattern designs or motif knitting is available. An instruction manual, a video, a set of hand tools, and 15 design cards are included with machine. For knitting purpose, the carriage is a hand operated item to make your knit fabric.
