These models offer single bed knitting as follows: stockinet, tuck, slip, punch lace, Fair Isle, weaving textures. A design can be used either as all over the fabrics or as motifs.
Punch card (PC) knitter models include pre-designed cards, tools, and a manual. Electronic (E) models offer tools, and a manual as all designs are created with special optional software.

There are two types of software available currently: Concept and Dak.
If you feel you are a beginner knitter, Concept may be your starting purchase from which you can update later. Dak 7 is a professional version with full power, which I would advise as a purchase.
It is easy to program pattern pieces in one particular size to use from baby through adult. There is in the Dak 7 professional version, areas where an original size can be used or changed in shape or style to use as a knitting program. One can create pattern designs as desired. Knitting from a PC computer screen for a programmed design or pattern structure is a neat experience. Either way you can select what you will be most comfortable with.
This carriage is available for some models. It will be an advantage in knitting with more than 2 colors in a row to a design over a number of rows.

This attachment is available for most every model to eliminate the purl side floats in the designs used. It actually has available the following knitting as well: Ribbing, Swing rib patterns, Fisherman Rib, Punch Lace, Punch Tuck Rib, Drive Lace, Mesh and Pile Knitting. If one adds a Yarn changer to the Rib attachment, a form of double Jacquard can be knit.
This unit added on to the rib attachment will make available 2 or more color design patterns for Jacquard Knitting.
